The location of the lodge was perfect for exploring all the nearby attractions. It was conveniently located near Stirling town, making it easy to access different places to visit. the host, James, was always available and provided helpful information about nearby activities. the lodge itself was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

That the cooking facilities in the lodge were poor, especially since we were cooking Christmas dinner. the surface space was limited and there were some broken dining chairs.

The lodge itself was tastefully decorated and well appointed, and the hot tub was a perfect addition. The staff, especially Jackie, were incredibly friendly and helpful, even offering a high chair for our baby. There was plenty of space for our whole family, and the lodge was conveniently located near attractions like the Stirling Castle and Loch Lomond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

One minor issue we encountered was the difficulty in drying out towels between hot tub visits and showers. It would have been helpful if the lodge provided additional towels or if guests were advised to bring their own.

The lodge itself had plenty of seating areas and space, making it perfect for spending time with family and friends. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful lady who greeted us and provided valuable tips about local attractions.

Although we were overall happy with our stay, there were a few small issues. We only had one towel per person and one hand towel in each bathroom, but luckily we had read a tip to bring extra towels.

The dining chair was broken and there was no light in the downstairs bathroom. Additionally, there were multiple lighting issues throughout the lodge, such as only one bulb in the hall landing and under unit lights not working in the kitchen.
